Según cierta leyenda de una tribu del norte de Myanmar, hubo un tiempo en que todo el mundo “vivía en una gran aldea y hablaba una misma lengua”. Entonces decidieron construir una gran torre, y mientras lo hacían, “gradualmente adquirieron diferentes hábitos, costumbres y modos de hablar. Con el tiempo se dispersaron por todas partes”. No importa el idioma, el lenguaje moldea la forma en que vemos y definimos el mundo; y es ese quizas el poder del hombre, nuestro poder.

According to a legend of a tribe in northern Myanmar, there was a time when everyone "lived in a large village and spoke the same language". Then they decided to build a big tower, and while they were doing it, "they gradually acquired different habits, customs and ways of speaking. Over time they scattered everywhere. " No matter the language, language shapes the way we see and define the world; and that is perhaps the power of man, our power.
